i’ve got my guess.

My wife likes to stay in the dark, but sometimes if she sees me reading a theory she wants to hear it (like who is on the freighter for Ben). It’s fo-sho fun trying to figure out what is going on.

my wife and i try to have conversations about our theories while totally keeping ourselves oblivious to what other people are commenting about. the exception is conversations with friends…face to face.

it’s a bit like we are on our own island, trying to figure things out.

and now you know how much we are both absolutely nerds.

Sooo… what if…

The Oceanic six initially leave the island because with Farraday and whoever else, they figure out the time and space thing, and they are the only ones who can safely travel out without major side-effects. What if they are supposed to return and somehow fix this time-space gap and make it so everyone else can return…. and the reason Jack is so broken up in some of the flash-forwards and says, “We’re supposed to go back” (or whatever it is that he says) is that they decided to NOT return and save the other survivors.
