It sucks that sometimes you ask people for prayer at church, and by week’s end everyone is talking about it.
And perhaps it is not something they will even pray about then or later. Or you get a hundred calls because people are “concerned.” A strange feeling if we haven’t talked in six months. lol.
All that to say pray for my family. It is way appreciated.

the typical excuse for christians to gossip is “we are passing our concern along so that other people will pray”.
I’ve been in prayer meetings where the prayers offered were actually gossip.
I wonder why we never hear any sermons on gossip which at its root is the spirit of murder?
Done….and will do again. Yeah, sometimes the “concern” of others is just not needed!
